I did this portrait of Alton Ochsner Sr. around 1984. It is in the clinic lobby next to the pay window.
They used it in the TV ads for a few years. One of the ads was an old man explaining to a kid who Alton Ochsner was.
As I remember, it is about 40x40 inches and is Oil on canvas. There has been a physician in the Ochsner family since Paracelsus. Pretty impressive. New Orleans is very proud of this world famous hospital.
